Anonymous asked: So your objective is to have the body of an 11 year old? Wow
Nope, that’s not what was implied at all. Perfection that everyone says is impossible is and has been actualized by girls the western world over, and I’ve seen it since the sixth grade. So no, I don’t want the body of an 11 year old, but I do want the physique so many believe is out of reach.
That whole idea that we should think of the models in magazines as imaginary creatures that are too pretty, too thin, and too perfect to emulate drive me nuts, and they always have.
When I was in sixth grade my best friend was 5’2, a C-cup with a 24” waist. She had gorgeous blond hair that fell to her elbows and her braces had come off that summer so her teeth were perfect and white. Naturally everyone loved her.
I’ve known since I was 11 that the image of beauty that magazines endorse IS possible, thank you very much. I’m getting really sick of being told it’s not.

I really want one of those lace camis for the beach this year. And I really want to look like that in one.
